IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paula Marie
Thomas
June 8, 1958 – March 31, 2024
An amazing, outgoing, loving and selfless mother who truly, without a
doubt, loved God.
Paula Marie Thomas was born on June 8, 1958 to the parentage of
Leon Thomas and Doris Hansford- Thomas in Dallas, Texas. Paula
was raised to be an intelligent, honest and kindhearted lady. As a
young lady, Paula was a part of The Candy Stripe Volunteer Group for
hospitals within the DFW network.
Paula confessed Jesus Christ as her personal Savior early in life. She
joined the McIntosh CME Church where she was a member of the
Usher Board. She was also a Hostess in the hospitality industry for
over twenty years.
Paula loved to dress, cook and definitely loved taking care of her
plants. She loved to dance and loved the outdoors. It gave her a sense
of peace. So, whatever she could find to do outdoors, she would do it!
Paula was a devoted mother. She always put the care of her children
before herself. She loved her daughter and son and would do anything
for them. She taught them to be strong, loving, and kind children.
To know Paula was to love her, and her love was unconditional. She
never met a stranger. Once she met and came in contact with you more
than once, you were then considered family. She enjoyed spending
time with her family and going to family functions.
Paula gained her wings on March 31, 2024. She is preceded in death
by her mother and father, Leon Thomas and Doris Hansford- Thomas;
sister, Lanette Thompson; and her best friend, Crisandra Green.
Paula leaves to cherish her precious memories: a daughter, Latomia
Thomas (Brandon Brown); son, Kenneth Thomas; three
granddaughters, Brandye' Brown, Brooklyn Brown, and Kyndal
Thomas; three grandsons, Kindre Hambrick, Kelon Thomas and
Coreon Jackson; a Godson, Henderson Ntabo; three sisters, Deborah
Tallie, Pamela Moody and Alicia Thomas; four brothers, Carl Thomas,
Dion Thomas, Jeffery Thomas and Leon Thompson; special friend,
Antionette Rollins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends who loved her dearly.
Paula did all that she could to be the best mother and friend that anyone
could ask for. Now, she has gone to a better place…a place where
there's no more sickness, no more heartaches, no more pain. She's in
heaven where there's joy, peace and love. She is with God and the
loved ones who have gone before her.
We will miss her dearly. She will always and forever be in our hearts.
