IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Randy Carl
Mosley
July 2, 1950 – January 11, 2020
On July 2, 1950, a baby boy was born to Lee and Mattie Mosley, he was a joy not only to their home but their lives. He along with his siblings was reared in a loving and nurturing home where laughter and love of God were instilled in each of them.
Randy grew up in the Dalworth community of Grand Prairie, Texas and relocated to Denver Colorado, where he entered eternal peace with God on January 11, 2020.
"You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away" (James 4:14)
Randy was educated in the Grand Prairie Independent School District, home of the Grand Prairie Gophers where he was known for his great athletic abilities. Randy was a man that loved meeting people, gathering with his family and friends. He truly enjoyed talking and watching sports, that was the height of his conversation. He was an encouraging father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin, he was always eager to give positive spiritual advice, and a captivating smile that lit up the room.
Randy was a devoted member of the Greater Sweet Home Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas under the leadership of the late Pastor Danny Kirk where he was a part of the male chorus. He was zealous in his faith and love for God and lived each day looking to glory. He was a man hungry for the Word of God, often spoke of his love for Christ and how the word had an impact on his life.
Memories of Randy Mosley will be cherished by his Sisters: Paula Greene (Bobby) and Phyllis Mosley of Grand Prairie; Brothers: Lee A Mosley, Jr (Freta) of Pantego, Calvin Mosley of Grand Prairie: Sons: Derrick Taylor (Stephanie) of Lancaster, Alvin Hall of Dallas, and Kiba Barner of Grand Prairie, (9) grandchildren, (6) great-grandchildren: Aunt Ermagene McGill of Mount Pleasant, Aunt Hattye Mosley of Dallas, loving friend Margo Butler of Denver, CO: a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, classmates, and life-long friends.
"Our grief is made easier knowing Randy is with Jesus, "We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8) ; reunited with our Mother, Father, siblings; Catherine, Montie and Daughter Monique. Farewell Randy, until we meet again.
