Raymond James Horton was born on September 22, 1944 to the union of Lawrence and Margaret Horton.

"When I was a child, I spoke like a child" – 1 Cor. 13:11

Raymond confessed Christ at an early age. He received his formal education in the Austin Public School System. He worked diligently for KNOW Country radio station and later KVET Case radio station of Austin, Texas for over 30 years.

"Who so ever believeth in Him"- John 3:15

Raymond entered into his eternal resting place on June 5, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife Mamie Horton, daughter Tina La'Tres Horton, mother Marguerite, father Lawrence Horton, and brother Lawrence Horton, Jr.

"I will not leave you comfortless" – John 14:18

Raymond leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Lois (Carl) West, Will James Horton, and Cenith Yvette Horton all of Garland, TX.; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
