Reginald "Reggie" Merrelle Starks, 50, of Garland, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024 in Garland, Texas. Reggie will always be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed forever cherished in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

Reggie was born in Houston, TX to David Earl Starks and Bernice (West) Washington on November 1, 1973.

Reggie married his college sweetheart Mandy (Lupercio) Starks on May 12, 2001 in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Reggie is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Starks; father, David Earl; grandmothers, Teeter (Jenkins) West and Irma (Robinson) Starks; and other loved ones.

Reggie is survived by his devoted wife, Mandy (Lupercio) Starks; beautiful daughters, Reyna Starks and Maya Starks; honorary daughter, Chloe Reynold; loving mother, Bernice (West) Washington; sisters, Kimberly Starks and Paige Lightfoot; nieces, Saliyah Starks, Abigail Lupercio, Arilene Torres; great niece, Khloe Moss; nephews, Preston Starks, Malik Moss, Antonio Moss, and Avery Washington; sisters in law, Misty (Preston) Ailey, Elizabeth (Lupercio) Torres; brothers in law, Mario Lupercio and Carlos Lupercio; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
