Obituary

Richard James Thomas was born on November 17, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of Rosemarie Thomas. He attended William Penn Elementary School and Senn High School.
Richard, better known as "Rick James", moved to Dallas. Texas in 1995
He was employed by Newcrest Image as a Security Officer. He became a member of Hope Full Gospel Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor John Kemp in 2013. He was ordained as a Deacon and served as an aide to the Pastor. He was also an active part of the Men's Ministry.
Richard was married to Debra Thomas. She remained by his side caring for him until his death.
Richard was preceded in death by his brother Latrell and grandfather Henry Thomas.
He leaves to mourn his memory, a devoted wife Debra Thomas. He will forever be lovingly remembered by his precious daughter Kenisha; granddaughter Amani Rose; mother Rosemarie; grandmother Rosetta Thomas; brothers: David and Rahsaan; sister Jameelah. Richard will also be forever remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, church family and dear friends.
