February 16, 1960 – December 1, 2022
Rickey Ramoun Bunton Sr. was born February 16, 1960, in
Pampa, Texas to Roy Sue Bunton-Mason and the late Lawrence Gur-
ganious, Sr. He was raised by his loving grandparents, Lucy and
Leroy Bunton, who precedes him in death.
Rickey accepted Christ at an early age at St. Mark C.M.E. in
Pampa, Texas. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1978,

Over the years he was actively involved in many activities
where he created lasting memories with so many people including
his days as a lifeguard, hanging with his Monte Carlo club, DJing
around Dalworth, competing in bowling leagues, participating in
male chorus, leading the audio-visual ministry, and serving as a
steward.
On July 14, 1990, Rickey married Sheila Renee' Moran.

Rickey Ramoun Bunton Jr. and Rachel Renee' Bunton. He managed
at mechanical companies most of his life up until his health failed
him. He enjoyed cracking jokes, two-stepping, playing his guitar,
and providing for his family.
