Mr. Ricky Lynn Hogg was born November 20, 1967, in Rockwall, Texas to James Hogg, Sr., and  Gyeithia Ellis.

Mr. Hogg's family resided in Garland, Texas where he received his formal education and graduated from Garland High School in the late 80s.

Ricky met and later married the love of his life Latanuga Hogg. He was employed by Jeld-Wen Manufacturing Company.

Ricky was a loving and caring person. His smile would light up a room and his laughter was simply contagious. He was known by so many and will be deeply missed.

On May 16, 2022, Ricky Hogg left his Earthly home to live eternally in his Heavenly mansion. He will be greeted at Heaven's Gate by, his father James Hogg, Sr., and sister Evelyn "Tina" Hogg.

Those left behind to cherish his memories are, his mother Gyeithia Ellis; wife Latanuga Hogg; mother-in-law: Linda Bush; children: Antron Wells (Destiny), Tiandra Stokes, Erica Amachigh (Amen), Raven Williams (James), and Delmar Hill; seven grandchildren; brother James Hogg, Jr. (Sharon); sisters Ella Mae Tyler (George), Dorothy Ann Robinson (Anthony), Patricia Michelle Hampton (Otha), and a host of other relatives, and friends.
