Robert Dewayne Maloy was born on November 7, 1958 to the parentage of Robert B. Maloy and Dorothy N. Thomas in Dallas, Texas.

Robert grew up in Dallas, Texas and received his formal education in the Dallas Independent School District. He attended Wilmer Hutchins High School. He served several years in the United States Armed Forces.

Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family. He was always the one to lend a helping hand and a kind word to those he encountered. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Robert. He had a passion for singing and driving 18 wheelers; and thoroughly enjoyed watching his favorite NFL team - the Dallas Cowboys.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.

Those left to cherish his precious memories include: his devoted wife Sherry; his loving sons Isaac (Jasmine) and Heath (Shaniqua); sister Rhonda (Billy); five bonus children Lakeitha (Marcus), Jessie (Chelsea), Wilton, Corey and Shambrecia (Kendrix); a host of grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends.

As we remember Robert, our hearts are heavy with sorrow but also filled with love. We remember not just a man/friend one who left us too soon, but the man/friend who lived fully, loved deeply and left a trail of joy wherever he went. Robert's memory is a treasure we will carry within
us. He will live on in our hearts, our laughter and our love always.
