Robert C. Twine was born on November 30, 1947 in Jasper, Texas to the late Arlee Twine and Ruthie Mae McKinney Twine.

Mr. Arlee Twine moved Robert C. and his brothers, Harris Lee, Johnnie Mac and Ernest Ray to Grand Prairie, Texas in 1951 where they were raised by Mr. Arlee and Mrs. Lillian E. Gossett Twine .

Robert C. united with St. John Baptist Church at an early age . He graduated from Grand Prairie's Dalworth High School in 1966.

Robert was drafted into the U.S. Army in February 1968.

Robert C. and Mary Ann Brown were married on July 12, 196 8 . Yolanda Marie was born to this marriage. In 19 82 Sylvester Mandrake Hill was born to Robert C. and Lois Hill.

He began his army service as an Armor Reconnaissance Specialist. Upon reenlistment in the army he became a Social and Welfare Specialist. He served in the Army until March 1978.

Robert C. leaves to cherish his memory , his mother Ruthie Mae Adams; daughter Yolanda Marie Twine and son Sylvester Mandrake Hill; two grandchildren and on e great grandson; brothers Johnnie Mac (Angela), Ernest Ray, James K. Williams (Judith), Gary W. Reed (Lillian), Lawrence E. Twine (Barbara); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
