Our sister, Roberta Antoinette Taylor, was born on September 16, 1970 to the late Mr. Robert Lee Taylor, Sr. and Mrs. Ruby Jewel Calloway Dailey. She accepted Christ at an early age and was filled with the precious Holy Ghost at the House of Prayer in San Jose, California, under the leadership of Pastor Elder R. Womack.

Roberta, "Berta", or "Ro Ro", as her family and friends called her, served as an usher and active choir member throughout her adolescent and young adulthood at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in East Palo Alto, California. She loved the Lord and it was even reported how she torn the house down with a solo-duet performance in 1987 to a song by Edwin Hawkins, "My Trust Lies in You." She will be truly missed by all those who had an opportunity to meet her. She will be missed most for her warm, beautiful smile, generosity, and word of wisdom.

Roberta is preceded in death by her father Robert Lee Taylor, Sr.; grandfather Leon Johnson; grandmother Barbara Jean Taylor Brown and a host of other relatives.

She leaves to cherish her memories, five sons: Martell Taylor (Stasha Mae) of San Leandro, CA., Marquis McCrary of Tacoma, WA., Dennis Hardnett of Houston, TX., Romello Fowlin of Ft. Worth, TX., and Antoine Wiley of Ft. Worht, TX.; two daughters: Arena Poole of Ft. Worth, TX., and Maryah Burns of San Jose, CA.; two grandsons: London Taylor of San Leandro, CA., and Hayden Gardner of Houston, TX.; three sisters: Delisha Calloway of Dallas, TX., Onika Taylor of Ft. Worth, TX., and Crystal Washington of Everman, TX.; two brothers: Robert Lee Taylor, Jr. of Ft. Worth, TX., and Robert Lee Taylor III of Honolulu, HI.; grandmother: Mary Lou Calloway Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, Eat Palo Alto, CA, PDM Family Church, Restoration Family Church and a special friend David Parker.
