Roderick Keith Branch was born November 8, 1967, in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of the late Ronald E. Branch and Earnestine T. Branch. He transitioned to eternity with his Lord on July 9, 2022, in Frisco, Texas at the age of 54. Keith and LaTrese Hollins joined in Holy Matrimony in 2004, and they were the proud parents of a son Roderick Keith Branch, Jr, and a daughter Tanisha Hollins Jackson (Bonus Daughter).
Keith accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, and a member of Faithway Fellowship Baptist Church under the Leadership of his brother Bishop Derrick Lyonel Bowman, Sr. He served faithfully as a member of the Disciples of Christ (D.O.C) Ministry and the Men of Honor Ministry.
Keith worked in Education in both the Richardson ISD and Dallas ISD as a Special Education Teacher (Behavior Paraprofessional) and Coach, for over 15 years. He was also a Baseball Umpire for over 25 years and a part of the Dallas/FW Adult Baseball Association (DFWABA) and Texas Amateur Umpire Association (T.A.U.A). He was an Official/Referee for basketball with the Spring Valley Athletic Association (S.V.A.A). He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend who loved and supported his family.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Elmer R. Thompson and Ethel R. Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, 2 sons Roderick Keith Branch Jr, and Chad Young, 2 daughters Tanisha Jackson (William), RayLynn Elizabeth Turner; 3 Grandchildren. 2 brothers Bishop Derrick Lyonel Bowman, Sr (Diane), Ronald Lance Branch (LaVida); Special Sisters and Brothers, Mitch and Anita Gatson, Missy and Ches Edmond, and Patrice Grovey in Houston, TX. Special Aunts & Uncle, Jayne Morrison, Sheri Shaw, Ruth Dotsy and Charles Dotsy. Ride or Die Special Cousin Clint Morrison, Special Companion/Friend Maya Sample, and a host of nieces and nephews who were very special to him; relatives, Church family and friends.
