IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald Dwayne
Carson
August 30, 1964 – October 3, 2023
Ronald Dwayne Carson, 59, of Garland, Texas, entered into God's
kingdom on Oct. 3, 2023.
He was born August 30, 1964 in Thomasville, Alabama, to Roosevelt
and Helen (Brown) Carson.
Ronald was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, grandfather,
great grandfather, brother, cousin and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Ellis Carson; sons, David (DJ)
Hamilton, Brandon (Desserie) Hamilton (Texas) Tayron (Ohio);
daughters; Janesha Hamilton, Marla Hamilton (Texas); Shatara Nurse,
Shavonne Nurse, Iris (Alex) Ford (Ohio). Thirty four grandchildren
and one great granddaughter.
Parents Mr. Roosevelt and Mrs. Helen (Brown) Carson of Akron,
Ohio; brothers Reggie Carson and Ray Carson and one sister Stacy
Carson.
Ronald graduated with his sweetheart from John R. Buchtel High
School June 1983, and ten years later they were married February 6,
1993.
Ronald moved to Texas in August 2003 and his family joined New Je-
rusalem Church of God under the Leadership of Pastor EJ Young. He
was a faithful member and served on the Board of Directors.
Ronald was employed by Oak Farms from 1999-October 3, 2023; A
Beloved Milkman!
Ronald had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no
matter the situation, and his laugh was infectious to everyone around
him. A man of many stories all that would draw out inspiring conclu-
sions.
As a man of true integrity, Ronald would never budge under any cir-
cumstances, regardless of anyone ideals. A man of conviction. A man
that loved his family, he focused on providing for his children with the
best life possible without worrying about himself.
He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts
of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive,
make you laugh, stir up conversation, put you to work when you didn't
want to. He was there when you needed him; and never complained.
On the morning of his departure after hanging up from The Power of
Pentecost Prayer Line, and speaking with his wife, he started his jour-
ney home to meet the Lord!
Ronald was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his
family, church family, friends and co-workers that loved him dearly.
He's gone from this earth but will never be forgotten in our hearts!
