Forman, Sr.
February 1, 1960 – August 23, 2020
Ronnie Ray Forman Sr. was born on February 1, 1960, in Big Spring, Texas to Willie & Elmira Forman.
He accepted Christ at an early age at 1000 N.W 3rd Church of Christ and was baptized by the late A.J. Adams.
Ronnie went to Big Spring High School and was well known for his position on the Basketball team and graduated in 1978. After high school, Ronnie worked for Big Spring State Hospital, in 1980 he joined the United States Army to proudly serve his country in Infantry. He went on to become a Drill Sergeant and while in the army he traveled to many places Tacoma, Washington; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mainz, Germany, and Lawton, Oklahoma. After 13 years he was honorably discharged in 1993. He relocated to Garland, Texas after his time in the United States Army where he then worked at Abbott Laboratory for 10 years.
On May 1, 1981, Ronnie married Tina Williams, they remained married for 39 years and had three beautiful children.
He is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Elmira Forman.
Those left to cherish his memories are his, wife Tina Forman; daughter Erica Henderson of Dallas, TX.; sons: Ronnie Forman Jr. (Martha) of Mesquite, TX and Rodrick Forman of Dallas, TX.; grandchildren: Joshua Wright, Lyszette Martinez, Jared Wright, Julyssa Forman, Daiviyon Forman, Demarcus Henderson, Seiviyon Forman, and Nevaeh Forman; great-grandchild Autumn Wright; siblings: Willie (Gene) Forman of Big Spring, TX, Connie Scott of Allen, TX, Billy Jones (Yodit)of Abilene, TX, Mary Taylor Of Rockwall, TX, Donny Forman (Wanda) of Anna, TX, Clarence (Son) Forman of Big Spring, TX, Cathy McDuffie (Ronnie) of The Colony, TX, Carolyn Wallace (Michael) of Wylie, TX and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins
