February 19, 1952 – June 11, 2022
Mother Rossie Lee Nance was born on February 19, 1952, to the late Willie Bruce and Arilla Henderson in Texarkana, Arkansas.
She was educated at Booker T. Washington High School in Texarkana where she was a part of the graduating class of 1970. Following her graduation, she worked for Hughes Aircraft where she remained for 15 years.
Mother Nance confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at Father Abraham Christian Center in Los Angeles, California where she remained until 2004. She later united with Dayspring Family Church in Irving, Texas.
Rose, as she was so affectionately called, loved to dance, watch television, read various books, and spend quality time with her dear family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Mr. John Clem Nance, and her fifteen siblings.
Mother Nance leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Coco Nance (fur baby) of Fort Worth, TX, Clemesa M. Williams of Grand Prairie, TX, Cyrel A. Nance of Arlington, TX, and Starkeshia T. Demming of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren: Darion Shampklin, Dakeria T. Shampklin, Natavien T. Mathis-Nance, Mason K. Demming, and Myles R. Demming; siblings: Loisteen Harris (Edward), and Noris Van Bruce; sons-in-law: Broderick Demming, and Don Williams; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Faye Shofner, Norman Jean Nelson, and Cynthia Ann Nance. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
