Ruby Harrell McGuire was born March 28, 1950, in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Dorothy Ruth Harrell and Stance Harrell, Sr. She attended school in the Rockwall Independent School District.

At an early age, Mrs. Ruby, accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and became a member of Full Gospel Holy Temple in Garland, Texas and remained faithful to the Lord. She worked in the healthcare field for many years.

In 1967, Ruby married the love of her life, John McGuire and they lived in marital bliss until his passing.

On October 11, 2019, Mrs. Ruby answered the call of her Heavenly Father to come live with Him in her Heavenly home. She will be welcomed at the Gates of Heaven by her husband John McGuire, both her parents Ruth and Stance Harrell, Sr., grandparents Richard and Mary Howard; Walter, Sr. and Irma Harrell, four brothers: Lonnie Harrell, Johnnie Howard, Clarence Dardin and Alex Harrell, two sisters: Brenda Harrell and Leah Neil.

Mrs. Ruby leaves behind to cherish her memories, two sons: Ronny McGuire and Tony McGuire both of Rockwall, Texas; two daughters: Tracie Colbert of Greenville, Texas and Lora Mitchell of Lancaster, Texas; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five sisters: Mamie Rockmore of Dallas, Texas, Patsy Long (Hervie) of Glenn Heights, Texas, Rachael Okezirume Harrell of Ft. Worth, Texas, Gayla Owens (Alford) of Opelia, Alabama, and Cristi Harell of Abilene, Texas; four brothers: Gene Harrell (Tiffany) of Jewett, Texas, Stance Harrell, Jr. (Nettie) of Temple, Texas, Jarvis Harrell and James Harrell (Danella) both of Abilene, Texas; sister-in-law Carol Harrell of Rockwall, Texas; two brother-in-law: Sonny and Lawrence Gipson of San Francisco, California; special cousins Joyce Peoples, Diane Harrell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
