S haron Eugenia Potts was born on July 13, 1948 to David Ervin and Myra Gordon Ervin in Knoxville, Tennessee. She received her education in Knoxville.

Sharon relocated to Texas in the 70's where she accepted Christ and was a faithful and diligent member of Water of Life Ministries for 30 years.

She worked in Data Entry and Computer Programing until her health would not allow her to.

Sharon is preceded in death by both her parents, David and Myra Ervin and one brother David Ervin II.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters: Anissia Jackson, Nicole Leigh and Erin Akers; seven grandchildren: Jaxson Leigh, Jaidah Leigh, Joelle Leigh, Sam House, Demerric Strickland House, DaJour Price and Sarah Reed; six great grandchildren; one sister: Delbrah Thompson; one sister-in-law: Veda Ervin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
