Shawn D. Addison was born to Gregory L. Addison and Annie Mae Pleasant in Baltimore City, MD on November 10, 1973.

Prior to moving to Plano,  Texas, Shawn was raised in Port Arthur Texas. Shawn was a member of First Pentecostal church where he was baptized on August 11, 1984.

After relocating to Plano, Texas, he was employed with Firestone for 25 years. Starting as a technician, he worked his way up to management and retired in 2017.

Shawn's hobbies were playing dominoes, bowling and spending quality time with friends and family.

In 2017, Shawn was diagnosed with cancer and after a long hard-fought battle with cancer, Shawn was called home on September 8, 2019.

Mr. Addison leaves behind His mother Annie Mae Pleasant, and his father Gregory L. Addison, in addition, he leaves behind three beautiful daughters, Khristina Clemons, Sundae Sinclair, Shontanae Addison and a grandson Shemar Sinclair. Shawn is also survived by his brother Preston Addison, and a host of family and friends.
