Sherry Joyce Riddle of Garland, Texas passed away on October 6, 2019, at the age of 64.

She was born on September 26, 1955, to Billy Douglas Newberry and Delores C. (Gifford) Newberry.

Sherry worked as a baker for 25 years and everything she baked was made with love. She had a dry sense of humor, was world-renowned for her lack of patience, not holding back her opinion and she had a special knack for telling it like it was. She also had a generous and compassionate heart. Everyone knew her as "Sherry Mom" and will dearly miss all these things about her and more.

She was preceded in death by her mother Delores Newberry.

Sherry is survived by her partner Glendon Bud Phillips; father Billy Newberry; brother Steve Newberry; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Michell Newberry; son and daughter-in-law Jason Lee and Christina Riddle; son Phillip Lee Riddle III; granddaughter (daughter) Tabitha Marcelle Riddle; great-grandchild to be born in February, Penelope Joyce and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
