Shirley Jean Derrick was born January 10, 1964 to the late John
and Mary Derrick. She attended Garland Schools and worked at
NTTA for many years. Shirley was baptized at an early age and
she was a member of Greenville Ave. Church of Christ.

Shirley lived in Garland Texas and had one son, Rodney Monroe
Derrick. She preceded in death three brothers, John Derrick,
Richard Derrick, and Larry Derrick and one grandson, Devonte
Duncan.

Shirley leaves to cherish her memories with her son Rodney M.Derrick and his wife Larinda Derrick; four grandchildren Dyari, Daniyah, Dalycia, and Devan Derrick; one great-grandchild Nayani Rose; one sister Carol E. Derrick and one brother Neil A. Derrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves her best friend Laurinda Thomas to cherish her precious memories.

Shirley was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt
by her family, church family, and friends who loved her dearly.

She's gone from this earth but will never be forgotten in our
hearts!
