IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stefano Dion
Webster
April 7, 1966 – February 5, 2024
Into this world, on April 7, 1966 a baby boy was born unto the parents of Betty J. (Tuggle) Webster and Willie Drew Webster, Jr. His name was chosen to fit his personality. One of the most enlightened of babies. The origin of his name as seen in the Bible by St. Stephen, who was one of the chosen to assist the apostles and the first Christian to make a sacrifice, willing to stand by his beliefs and opposition of wrong doings.
Stefano Dion Webster was one who performed charitable acts for anyone in need, protected many from harm, and would defend his commitments by his words and actions. He spoke the ministry through his many speeches given for different occasions when called upon, gave of his free will and support for those who needed a helping hand at any time.
Stefano graduated from David W. Carter with honors, set yardage records in football; high scoring records in basketball, received awards for outstanding performance in leadership roles, and continued education at UTA Arlington, Texas for a while until he was sent to Texas Rampage Semi-Pro Practice Squad for New Orleans Saints.
He became a member of St. John Lodge #58 Mason (Worshipful Master of Gulf Coast, Past Deputy, Grand Master, of state). He wanted to enhance his career choice by accepting positions that would lead to always helping others in some capacity. He became experienced in Body Guard and created his own company for the purpose of helping and protecting others. He was a body guard for many popular celebrities and music artists.
Stefano developed Youth programs for at risk students while working for the City of Dallas. He coached AAU basketball, Pop Warner Football and Little League Soccer. He designed weight-lifting programs, created after-school programs for children; provided transportation for field trips. All of his programs were designed for enhancing social skills and independent living skills to have a lasting effect upon the lives that he touched with his kindness and support.
All of his positions held with various companies would always be with duties of helping others. As a body guard, it was to protect lives; working as security personnel, it was to protect property and people. For the enrichment of others, he followed the teachings of Jesus. Jesus commanded us to love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves, to treat them the way we would want to be treated. And in doing so with his actions and truth, his deeds became this purpose.
He is survived by former wife, Tennetta R. Webster, from this union two children were born; a beautiful daughter, Alexea N. (Wright) Webster; loving son, Domonique J. Webster; son in law, Ramon M. Wright; grandchildren, Railyn L. Wright and Royal M. Wright; devoted mother, Betty H. (Tuggle) Webster; father, Willie D. Webster; sister, Derie' L. Webster; sister Bridgette Weaver; sister Teresa Payne; brother Hylan Alford; stepfather, Claude D. Lowery; uncles, Samuel L. and Daniel L. Tuggle; an aunt, Linnie Tuggle; uncle, Kenneth W. Webster; aunt, Gloria N. Webster; and a host of many other relatives.
Stefano will be truly missed by his family but will also be missed by those who will remember him for his acts of kindness such as giving funds to the homeless, helping people cross the streets safely, and saying kind words to strangers that he met.
