A Glimpse at the Life of Steven Wayne Walton
Steven Wayne Walton was born on August 3, 1979 in Dallas, Texas
to Ricky Rogers and Sharron Scott. He passed away peacefully with
his family by his side on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Steve gave his life to Christ at an early age. He was baptized and
became a member of Greater Emanuel Baptist Church. He
graduated Roosevelt High School Class of 1997.
Steve was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had a
big heart and was always delighted with helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ricky Rogers and Sharron
Scott; and Alberta Walton and Claudis Walton.
He leaves to cherish is his loving daughter Tymeshia Hardman; father
Arnold Scott (Cindy); his devoted sister Tangela Walton (Constance);
stepdaughter Shabrecia Jackson; five god-brothers Danny McCoy,
Sr., Myron Blackshire, Kevin Caldwell, Gilbert Caldwell and Gerald
Moore, Jr.; four god-sisters Shauntrenee Shorter, Dessie Lott,
LaKesha Bradley and Yvette McCoy; six grandchildren; a special
group of cousins: Kenya Adams (Darvin), Ronda Chandler (Andre),
Antwone Robertson (Amaris) …all known to the family as the FAB 5
of which includes Tangela and Steven, himself; and a host of aunts,
uncles, cousins and other family members.
