The celebration of life for Tamara Latrece Washington began on September 28, 1976. She was born to the parentage of Gary and Brenda Elliott in Dallas, Texas.

Tamara accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at an early age at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.

Tamara attended grade school in the Dallas Independent School District where she later transitioned to the Mesquite Independent School District and graduated from West Mesquite High School in 1995. After graduating, Tamara went on to attended Sanford Brown Institute where she received her Medical Assistant certification and then applied her many skill sets within the workforce industry.

In 1997, Tamara met the love of her life, Leroy Gay III. Throughout their 21 years of unity together, Tamara gained two bonus children, Leslie (Tre') and Artaejah (Tae). The Lord later blessed them to have a son together, Le'Davian (Day Day).

Tamara was preceded in death by her first cousin and also known best friend, Corey Hampton.
