Tanya Carmelle Kennedy Holmes was born September 2, 1973 in
Natchez, Mississippi to her parents Cora Richardson Manuel and Roy
Wayne Kennedy. She is the second of five children and the only
daughter.
Tanya accepted Christ as her personal Savior when she was nine years
old and has been a member of the Body of Christ throughout her life.
Tanya received her early education in Natchez, Mississippi and
Marrero, Louisiana where she attended John Ehret High School and
Marrero Christian Academy. She concluded her studies in Dallas,
Texas.
Tanya was extremely courageous and smart. She took many risks in her
work for improvement of the company and the betterment of others.
She was privileged to work in the Dallas area with several major
corporations where she proved to be a definite asset. She enjoyed her
own entrepreneur endeavors where she owned and operated "Petunia
Anne-Marie " Sweet Treats and Event Planning.
Tanya is preceded in death by her brother Russell Tyrone Kennedy;
Paternal Grandparents Thelma and Philip Kennedy, Sr.; Maternal
Grandfather Arthur James Richardson, Sr. and her Stepfather, Aaron L.
Manuel.
