Teresa Gail King was born on January 11, 1963, in Dallas, Texas to Betty L. King and Boy Collins, who preceded her in death.

Teresa attended school at J.O Davis School in Irving, Texas, and David W. Carter High School in Dallas, Texas where she dominated the basketball court until she was disabled due to an automobile accident.

She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Shady Grove C.M.E Church in Irving, Texas.

On September 2, 2020, God called Teresa home to eternal rest.

She leaves to cherish many precious memories, three children: Gregory King, Teresa Neifert, and Isaac King; three sisters: Antonya King, Detra Senegal (Dwayne), and Traci Taylor (Vince); two aunts and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
