Therman Elijah Swann, age 61, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, in his home. He was born October 20, 1957 in Paris, TX to Robert and Ruby Swann. Therman was primarily raised by his grandmother, Emma Davis.

He was a 1976 graduate of Paris High School. He met his long-time partner, Bobbie Strange, in 1994 in Garland, TX and they have been together since. He worked as a truck driver with CDT, Custom Design Transportation, for many years and then became self-employed.

Therman enjoyed talking with friends and family, eating, cooking, and making everyone laugh around him. Therman told many jokes and brought smiles to a lot of faces. Many say he was very much like a father figure to them.

He is survived by his long-time partner, Bobbie Strange; his only son, Elijah Swann; step-children, LaMorris Davis, Sheldrick Davis and his wife Heather Davis, Kareisha Strange, and Shaneka Strange; his cousin Nicole and many more relatives.
