Tresa Ferae Cunningham-Mitchell was born on February 3, 1967, in Dallas, Texas, to Mr. Luther Ray Cunningham and Ruby Faye Cunningham.

Tresa was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, where she attended and graduated from South Grand Prairie High School. After graduation, she continued her education at Bradford Business Trade School.

While living in Grand Prairie, Tresa met and married the love of her life, Travis Lynn Mitchell. From their union, they were blessed with four wonderful children who were the pride and joy of her life.

Tresa found her greatest happiness in caring for her family. She especially enjoyed baking her famous pound cakes and spending quality time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter, loving wife, proud mother, cherished grandmother, auntie, and loyal friend. Known for her kind heart, caring spirit, and friendly nature, Tresa gave selflessly of herself to ensure her family's happiness. Family meant everything to her.

Tresa was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her aunts and uncles.

She leaves to cherish her memory her four children: Travis D. Mitchell (Latoya Mitchell), Ashley Mitchell, Tremaine Mitchell, and Jabrea Mitchell; her beloved bonus son, Brandon Mitchell, whom she loved dearly; five grandchildren, Travis T. Mitchell (TJ), Patrick Mitchell, Makayla Mitchell, Iyanna Hudson, and Kedrick Clewis (KJ); along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
