The heavenly gates opened on February 5, 2019 to welcome our beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend to free him from sickness and pain. Born in Grand Prairie, TX on April 27, 1961, Victor Farrar, was the 4th oldest of 7 children to the late James and Kathryn Farrar. Victor accepted Christ at a young age at Lighthouse Deliverance Church of God in Christ, under the teaching of the late Elder W.E. Roberts. Before he departed this earth, he rededicated his life to Christ and accepted God's plan.

Affectionately known as "Vic" by family and friends, Victor was a free spirited, nonjudgmental, loving, and caring person. He was a great self-taught chef, he could whip up anything that was placed in front of him, and he was known and famous for his hot water cornbread, dressing and rice pudding. Vic was a man of many talents, call him to cook (he's coming), call him to fix something (he's there), need a mechanic or personal moving service (he's available), he was the man with the plan. He could infuse humor into any situation even in his final hours, and he faced cancer with grace, courage, resilience and faith.

Victor was reunited in death with his parents, James and Kathryn Farrar, and Sister Paula Farrar. Left to treasure a legacy of precious memories are, his one and only son Benard Farrar , daughter Alysia Johnson, 1 granddaughter London, Sister Donna Farrar , Brother Michael Farrar (Deborah), Steve Farrar (Cazandra), Darryl Farrar (Tameka), and Timothy Farrar. A host of Nieces and Nephews that loved him dearly, and a host of aunties, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.

Victor will be missed by all family & friends!!
