Walter Ray Evans was born on April 14, 1948 in Marlin, Texas to the parents of Eulia Mae Watson and Jordan Evans.

Walter received his formal education from Grand Prairie Independent School District, where he graduated from Dalworth High School.
"A Time for Sunset…"
Walter was called home to his eternal resting place on October 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
"A time to Mourn…"
Walter leaves to cherish his memory, one sister: Ocie Mae Brown; two brothers: Jack Brown and Robert (Bay) Brown (Brenda) and the Hutchen and Evans Families; six nieces: Thresa Brown, Margo Bailey, Angie Brown, Peggie Brown, Debbie Brown and Tisha; five nephews: Rodney (Kojak) Brown, Lamar Brown, Leslie Brown, James Matchett, and Mario Stigger; special friends: Earl Jones, Henery Houston, and Caleb Williams. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.
