Obituary

Mr. Will Earl Pete was born on November 7, 1958, in Marshall, Texas, to the parents of Earl Odell Pete and Mildred Donnell Pete.


He confessed Christ as his personal Savior early in life. He joined New Bethel Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas.


Will graduated in 1976 from Marshall High School in Marshall, Texas, and furthered his education at Kilgore Community College and East Texas State University.


He met and married Brenda Coner Pete in 1986. To this union, two sons were born, Brandon Earl Pete and Xavier Donnell Pete.


Will was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who would help anyone in need. He was a generous, loyal, and brave soul who had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He will be remembered for all the love and kindness he shared with his family and friends.


Will passed away peacefully at the Mesquite Rehabilitation Center in Mes-quite, TX on September 20, 2025. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.


He leaves to celebrate his life and homegoing, a loving wife, Brenda; two beloved sons, Brandon Earl Pete (Janay) and Xavier Donnell Pete (Keonna); four loving grandchildren, Trinity Arianna Pete, Xavier Donnell Pete, Jr., Zamir Javon Pete, and Zariah Keonna Pete.


He also leaves behind a special brother-in-law, XL Cotton, Sr., along with a host of relatives and dear friends all who will forever cherish his memory.
