Obituary

Willie Mae Blake was born on March 22, 1920 in Wheelock, Texas to James and Cornelius Jenkins. She received her formal education in the Wheelock Independent School District.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a faithful and loyal member of the Church of the Living God in Dallas, Texas. She was the Church Treasurer and choir director for the Jeffernettes. She worked as a Nurse and House Keeper for over 40 years.

Willie met and married Early Blake and they were happily married for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Cornel Jenkins; husband Early Blake; brothers: Adell Jenkins, Paul Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Monroe Jenkins and James Jenkins; as well as sisters: Victoria Baker, Kassie Woolbright, Mae Jefferson and Nealia Williams.

Willie leaves to cherish her sweet memories, son Early Blake (Ashly); grandchildren: Teveon Blake, Ti'Ijia Blake, Tramell Blake, Jordan Blake, Ti'Rijia Blake and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
