Willie Nix was born in 1952 in Fayette, Mississippi, to the late Gertilee and David Mitchell. He grew up in a loving family and attended Ferriday High School in Ferriday, Louisiana, where he formed many of the life long relationships that would shape his journey.

Willie accepted Christ at a young age, and althoughhis faith began early, he found renewed strength and a deeper relationship with God in his later years.

He later obtained his CDL and drove 18 wheelers, embracing the open road with determination and skill. In his later years, he served faithfully as a security professional, known for his reliability and commitment to protecting others.
