Willie was born March 1, 1958 in Shreveport Louisiana and was age 60 when he was called home on October 11, 2018. He was the 1st born of four children to Raylene Peoples Starks.
Willie was better known as {Anthony} by family, and {Special} in the neighborhood.
Anthony received his education at Hamilton Park Elementary and Lake Highlands High School in the Dallas Independent School District.
He found God at an early age, while growing up in Shiloh Baptist Church in Garland, Texas under the Pastoral leadership of the late Rev. James Rowe.
He lived in Mansfield, Louisiana for the first year or 2 of life. But spent majority of his life in the DFW area.
Anthony met and married Stacie Pollard and from their union three beautiful daughters were born: Stacie Antonia, Willesha Charity and Brandy Yvonne.
Anthony lived his life working multiple jobs, and he took advantage of all his opportunities and put them to use.
Anthony could have been the first 'Kirk Franklin' because he truly had the love of music and entertaining.
Anthony was a faithful tither, in and out of church. He also sowed and contributed to TBN ministries and other organizations. He instilled in his children to be faithful to God and the importance of sowing into tithing.
Even in his last days, he continued to hold on to his faith, while trying his best to physically stronger.
Anthony was proceeded in death by his mother Raylene Peoples Starks and Step Father Wallace Starks along with his Grand Parents Landry and Erma Peoples, his Uncles James & Donnie Peoples, and Aunts Linda Moody & Geraldine Galloway & Best friend Mark Thompson.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Stacie Antonia Pollard of Arlington, Texas. Willesha (Cliff) Brooks of North Hills, California and Brandy (David) Wilson of Arlington, Texas. Six Grandchildren: Jadrian, Josiah, Jeremiah, Darian, Deyjah and Charity. His three sibilings Erma Yvonne Dubois (Vonn) Joe Lewis Rutherford (Red) and Rachel Raylene Starks (Birdie) and by his Aunts Mary Moore, Carrie Lewis (Clyde), Helen and Joyce & Uncle Landry Jr. Peoples (Junebug).
He will also be remembered & missed by his nephews, nieces, cousins along with Hamilton Park classmates & a host of other relatives and friends.
