IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Zachary Roy
Tyler
October 11, 1989 – June 7, 2025
Zachary Roy Tyler entered this world on October 11, 1989, in Fort Worth,
Texas, born to Roxanna Tyler and Victor Terrell. From his first breath,
Zack carried something rare, uncontainable, unforgettable.
Raised in Mansfield, Texas, alongside his loving sister Victoria, Zack
was educated in the Mansfield Independent School District. But his real
classroom was life—and he lived it full out.
Zack was a beautiful paradox: gentle but bold, selfless but strong, playful but deeply aware. He
gave without hesitation, loved without limits, and moved through the world with a presence
that couldn't be ignored. Helping others wasn't just something he did, it was who he was. If he
saw a need, he met it. If he saw pain, he softened it. If he saw you, he really saw you.
He loved football, especially his Dallas Cowboys—but nothing rivaled his love for people. His
smile wasn't just bright; it was healing. His laughter wasn't just loud; it was contagious. He
had the rare ability to walk into a room full of strangers and leave with family. Zack didn't just
live, he gave life to others.
He is preceded in legacy by the life he lived out loud and the love he left behind.
Zack is survived by his devoted mother, Roxanna Tyler; his father, Victor Terrell; and his two
sisters, Victoria Terrell and Nakia Terrell.
Also left to cherish his memory are his beloved grandmother, Iva Tyler; his uncle, Chadwick
Tyler; his pops, Freeman Jones.
Zack's heart chose family too: Brandon Denson, who was more than a brother, and Danielle
Johnson, who was more than a sister; and his mentor and friend, Stacy Brooks. Their bond was
deep, real, and unbreakable, and it mattered. He leaves behind a wide circle of family and
friends who will carry his memory forward like fire.
Zack lived open-handed, never withholding joy, never retreating from love. He was the kind of
man who would give you the shirt off his back, then make you laugh while handing it to you.
His life was a reminder that sometimes, the brightest stars burn for only a short while, but their
light never truly fades.
And though our hearts are heavy, we are not without hope. Zack lived. Zack loved. Zack gave.
And now, Zack rests, in power, in peace, and in glory.
We love you, Zack. We'll keep moving, just like you did—with power!
